Yesterday we took a much needed break from crafting and headed to the pool with knitting buddies Lisa and Leslie. The kids had a blast and lasted the whole 5 hours in the pool. It was great to sit, relax, chat and knit for a while. Of course I was still working on my Stitch 'N Pitch stuff even at the pool. It was great to catch up with friends and soak up some sun. A little too much sun though, my legs and arms are fried but luckily I found an umbrella that attached to my chair to keep my face out of the sun (I hate to say this but it was only $2 at Wal-Mart, my least favorite store). I'm sure glad I had that, even though my kids thought I was kind of nerdy with it. Oh well... when you have Rosacea you do what you have to do. I'm still working on mini sock, that is the extent of my knitting for the last few weeks. Can't wait to start something new once Stitch 'N Pitch is over. Hope to see you there!
